Many of our hunting clients are also avid fishermen who wish to test their skills in southern waters. ASH Adventures offers two African fishing packages that can be booked as add-ons after the completion of your hunting safari. The first night of these packages is always spent at the Castello di Monte Guest House not far from our offices in Pretoria, making the connection between the hunting and fishing services seamless.
The cost of these packages range from $4 000 to $6 500 per person. The cost varies substantially depending on the time of year. Please let us know if you are interested so that we may send you an official quotation based on your traveling dates.
Mozambique is a tropical paradise. Santorini Mozambique, a stone's throw from Vilankulos and the waters of the Bazaruto Archipelago, offers some of the finest game fishing in the Indian Ocean. The package starts with a combination night in Pretoria after your hunting safari. On the following morning, you are transferred to O R Tambo International in Johannesburg for a flight to Vilankulos from where you will be transferred to paradise. Three nights are spent at Santorini. Fishing on a well-equipped boat is included on two of the days that you spend in Mozambique. On the final day, clients are transferred back to Vilankulos for a flight to Johannesburg, where they will be met and assisted with their departure.
The upper Zambezi River offers some of the finest tiger fishing in Africa. Here you will enjoy great fresh water fishing for one of the world's greatest fighting fish. The package starts with a transitional night in Pretoria after your hunting safari. On the following morning, you will be transferred to Lanseria in Johannesburg for a flight to Lukulu in Zambia from where a short transfer will bring guests to the lodge. Three nights are spent at Matoya Fishing Lodge. Here the days are devoted to fishing on the Zambezi River. On the final day, clients are transferred to Lukulu for a flight back to Johannesburg, where they will be met and assisted with their international connection.
